Katie Belanger
Katie Belanger is an educational consultant who joined the Unearth Education team in September 2020, and has since begun delivering workshops to help students realize their potential through experiential learning. In 2021, she spearheaded UEE’s partnership with Techsploration to plan and deliver two virtual conferences for young women interested in skilled trades and STEM. Katie graduated from Neuroscience at Carleton University in 2020, and is currently working toward her Bachelor of Education from Western University. She loves her cat and dog, baking, and tending to her growing plant collection.

Participants will explore the connections between their high school courses, extracurricular activities, and other life experiences as transferable employability skills. As participants learn about the 7 influencers in their life and the top 10 skills employers want, they will learn the critical components in creating a LinkedIn profile and gain an understanding of how companies hire.
